The Rennie family has been linked to the jewellery trade since the 1950’s.  The present store was opened in London’s Hatton Garden in 1995 when André Rennie left a family run jewellery business in which he trained, to pursue his ideals of design, quality and service. Rennie & Co has become a favourite within the City of London, attracting discerning clients from all parts of the U.K as well as from abroad.

Comfortably appointed; visitors are able to relax in the contemporary surroundings that echo the quality and uniqueness of the jewellery on offer at Rennie & Co

Rennie & Co’s diamond rings are born out of collaboration between Gemmologist, Designer and Goldsmith.  From start to finish each piece is made in the U.K. utilising the best of traditional skills combined with the benefits of modern technology producing exceptional quality pieces.

There are two ways to produce jewellery, mass manufactured or handmade. Whilst widely used due to its lower cost, mass manufacturing techniques simply do not match the high quality of finished product that handmade work offers. Rennie & Co has always prided itself on the quality of its manufacturing policy. Unlike many high street retailers, our jewellery is not mass manufactured for commercial use – which not only takes away from the sentimentality of the piece, but also from the quality of the finish.

Rennie & Co’s jewellery is hand crafted by our highly qualified goldsmiths. They go to great lengths to ensure that every aspect of the manufacturing process meets the highest possible standards. For us, each piece is a creation and as such we take great pride in its birth. All Rennie & Co jewellery is designed in house, so you can be assured that whatever your choice, it will stand out from the crowd.

We do not and never will claim to be the lowest cost jewellers. Our business philosophy revolves around excellence in quality and service. Although human skill is scarcer and thus more costly than machine manufacture, the end results are incomparable. As such, our pieces are destined to become cherished heirlooms rather than being consigned to the scrap pot after a few years of wear.
